Amor 25

Amor 25 is derived from a street address of a heritage building in Malang;  Jl. Anjasmoro No. 25, a house with a long history. The zine is written in Bahasa Indonesia and involved a designer, Madawisa Mahardika, who worked on the layout and the visual output. We also collaborated with local literacy communities in Malang for the zine distribution.

The zine is divided into two parts, the first part tells about the history of Amor 25 which was built in 1935, and the original owner, Pak Slamet, with his journey through the chaotic phase of the Indonesian National Revolution following the end of World War II,. The second part comprises the story about the condition of the house and a retelling of stories from the third (current) generation living in Amor 25.
